Primjetila sam je jednog maglovitog zimskog dana i zbog njene &nbsp;ljepote htjela sam je fotografirati. Imala je čudesne duge, nježne grane ukrašene bijelim lopticama. Ali kad sam se isti dan vratila s fotoaperatom sva je čarolija bila nestala. Odrezane grane ležale su naokolo i ja sam uzela nekoloko kuglica sa sobom da bih barem doznala kako se to stablo zove.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; U mladosti ima jako specifično deblo. Listovi su im s jedne strane srebrnosive a s druge intensivno zelene boje. Kako im njihove duge peteljke dozvoljavaju graciozno okretanje u vjetru oni pogotovo kod laganog povjetarca stvaraju jednu čudesnu sliku &nbsp;i zvuk. Maslinovo je ulje iznimno ukusno i zdravo, a maslina se spominje već u Bibliji i simbolizira mir, blagostanje i dugovječnost. </div><div style="text-align: center;">...nego osim svega toga, što ispričati o maslini...?</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Kod zimzelene masline nisam imala puno za fotografirati. Ona uvijek izgleda isto. Nema promjena boja ni u proljeće ni u jesen, nema spektakularnih godova ni crkvice ili spomenika u blizini. Svaki dan joj mogu reći "dobro jutro". Ona mirno stoji između dva crkvena tornja. Sudeći po izgledu još je prilično mlada. Da nje nema panorama starog grada izgledala bi potpuno drugačije. Ona razbija čvrste arhitektonske crte, dodaje poeziju i nježnost, i malo žbandano ali ipak savršeno zauzima svoje mjesto.&nbsp;</div><div style="text-align: center;">Lijepo je što postoji!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Što se više približavam, ona gubi na svojoj dominantnosti i primijećujem da ona zapravo stoji između tri crkvena tornja. Tu su franjevački samostan, benediktinski samostan i crkvica Majke Božje od zdravlja.</div><div style="text-align: center;">U blizini se nalazi i osnovna škola i tako moja pinija ima lijep pogled na gužvu poslije škole!</div><div style="text-align: center;">S mog prozora ju vidim okruženu misalima, molitvama i pjesmama.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Krenula sam, ali kada sam stigla tamo sam prepoznala kako malo znam o stablima. Bila je zima i kod crkve nalazila su se tri stabla bez lišča i ja nisam imala pojma koje je od njih kesten. To stablo je zbog svoje starosti (400 godina) vjerovatno najpoznatije stablo na cijelom otoku. Čak se spominje u turističkom vodiču. Na putu do tamo smo se skoro izgubili ali je šetnja kroz šumu sve nadoknadila. Još nisam znala koje će to stablo biti, samo sam znala da ge želim naći na vidikovcu na treskavcu, gdje se pruža jedan od najljepših pogleda na Baščansku dolinu. Vidjela sam jedno stablo pokraj kojeg sampo običaju smo prolazila, u svoj svojoj nježnoj ljepoti. Grane bez lišćče su bile ukrašene malim kuglicama boje slonovače i u magli izgledali su još čarobnije. Htjela sam ga fotografirati i tako sam poslijepodne još jednom krenula s fotoaparatom ali već je bilo prekasno. Od cijele čarolije ostale su samo odrezane grane koje su ljudi upravo skupljali i odnjeli.
